Direct Composite Techniques for Case Type 5

September 18-20, 2014 & March 26-28, 2015

Presented by: Frank J. Milnar, AAACD & Jenny Wohlberg, AAACD

Workshop Synopsis :
Candidates pursuing Accreditation must demonstrate clinical excellence and knowledge of the five required case types. Case Type 5 represents the greatest opportunity to comprehend tooth morphology, case selection, preparation, anatomical layering and hand polishing of the composite resin. This lecture is ideal for those Accreditation candidates who have not attempted or are in the early phases of Case Type 5 treatments. Esthetic essentials and foundational information will be discussed in order to de-mystify the complexity of restoring six maxillary composite veneers.

Learning objectives:
1. Understand smile design concepts that create natural esthetics for AACD Accreditation standards
2. Discuss and grasp the criteria of Case Type 5 essentials
3. Review how to handle composites, anatomical layering, finishing, polishing and proper surface texture

* Disclaimer-attendance in this workshop does not guarantee successful Case Type 5 submission
